New Jersey is our home state. We both grew up at the shore at different times. Who would have known that being around the water would influence us both so much? We love the way the ocean water smells it often reminds me of steamed mussels. There are many more lighthouses in New Jersey than what the average person thinks.
This Welcome to New Jersey State sign is on the New Jersey Garden State Parkway going northbound. Come to the Jersey Shore to visit our many lighthouses, boardwalks, beaches, and Atlantic City casinos. Don't forget to have our delicious salt water taffy. I took this shot on January 7, 2008.
