We first went to Michigan in 2001, days after 9-11. We went back in 2005 and twice in 2009 to get on several successful boat cruises and boat charters. In 2010 we rented a plane to see four distant lights then others on a great GLLKA cruise. Another GLLKA cruise in 2011. Several fantastic years for us on the Great Lakes!

This is the Welcome to Michigan State sign. There are several locations you can find these signs. One is on Route 23 Northbound and one is on Route 2 Eastbound. This sign was on the middle median on the overpass on I-94 East. I took this shot from near the Indiana sign on July 22, 2009.
