We first went to Michigan in 2001, days after 9-11. Then in 2001, 2005, twice in 2009, once in 2010, 2011, 2012 for several boat cruises, many private boat charters & a charter plane. We loved cruising on the Keweenaw Star with the members of GLLKA. Several fantastic years on the Great Lakes! Finally Isle Royale in 2013.

These Welcome to Michigan State signs are in several locations. The left sign is on Route 23 North, on Route 2 East and on the middle median on the overpass on I-94 East. I took this shot from near the Indiana sign on July 22, 2009. The right sign was a the Welcome Center on Route 2. I took this shot on July 19, 2012.
