We went to Michigan in 2001 and 2005. Then we went back to the Great Lakes twice in 2009 and once in 2010 and 2011 to get on many more boat cruises, private boat charters and a plane. We loved being with the members of GLLKA and motoring on the Keweenaw Star. Another fantastic year for us on the Great Lakes!
This is the Welcome to Michigan State sign. There are several locations you can find these signs. One is on Route 23 Northbound and one is on Route 2 Eastbound. This sign was on the middle median on the overpass on I-94 East. I took this shot from near the Indiana sign on July 22, 2009.
