We love the friendliness of the Canadian people. We were here in 2002 and we finally got back here in 2008 and briefly in 2009. In 2011 we chartered many boats in Georgian Bay and saw almost two dozen difficult to see lighthouses. We still have to see a few more off shore Canadian lighthouses by charter boats one year soon.
This Welcome to Ontario sign we saw when we left Route 69 in Huron, Michigan and crossed the border into Point Edward, Ontario. I took this shot on August 7, 2009. The United States & Canada International Boundary Line sign was on the bridge going into Buffalo, NY. I took this shot on August 8, 2009.
