This huge fisherman statue memorial is in the water near the Old Table Bluff lighthouse in Eureka, CA. The plaque says, "to those whom the sea sustained....and also claimed"
This large anchor is located on Route 535 in New Brunswick, Canada. We were on our way to photograph more lighthouses when we saw this on 9-27-03.
This giant North American lobster sculpture is in the town of Shediac, New Brunswick, Canada. This shot was taken on Sept. 27, 2003.
These lobster nets are tied together and painted to resemble the Acadian flag. This is located next to the Portage Island Rear Range lighthouse in New Brunswick.

We were shocked to see this giant sculpture of a Carribean Spiny lobster when we were down in the Florida Keys on March 30, 2004. Pretty cool.
This massive lobster net is next to the Grand Anse lighthouse in Grand Anse, New Brunswick, Canada. The lighthouse is painted with the colors of the Acadian flag.

After shooting the Collingwood lighthouse in Ontario we turned to shoot this massive green and red buoy. It has the letters TC on it. This was taken on June 21, 2011.
Here are several lobster nets on sale at the Maine-ly Maine gift shop on June 15, 2007. We chartered a plane for 2 hours on this beautiful day to photograph 12 lighthouses.
This navigation buoy is from the U.S. Coast Guard Station in Oak Island, NC. The Oak Island lighthouse is next to it. We were here on April 12, 2008.

This buoy is in the Cape Cod Canal in MA. We were on the world's worst lighthouse cruise ever seeing only one of the five lighthouses we expected! Taken on July 16, 2011.
This huge anchor is next to the Port Burwell Main lighthouse in Port Burwell, Ontario. We took this shot on May 28, 2008 after photographing the lighthouse.
This huge buoy was outside the Cape Robert Canadian Coast Guard gate in Ontario. We were here on June 20, 2011 to see the lighthouse that's now for a secuirty guard.
