In 1993 we were first time tourists in California. Then in 2002 and 2006 we went back west to photograph the lighthouses. 2010 was the NALC Convention. After we were able to get on five boats, one was to see the Farallon Island light. Our plane charter flew over the Point Conception light. Cool stone cliffs there. Now 1,201.
This Welcome to California State sign was on Route 101 South on the right side of the road. It's across the street from the Welcome to Oregon sign. I took this shot on August 16, 2010.
